1. Who is responsible

RadioTree is developed and published by 3 POINT TREE d.o.o., Croatia, which is the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What RadioTree does not do

• It has no sign-in, no registration and no user account.
• It contains no analytics or measurement software, no crash reporting service, and no advertising.
• It builds no profile of you, and does not track you across apps, sites or devices.
• It does not ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number, contacts, location, microphone or camera.
• It sends nothing whatsoever to us. We operate no server that receives data from the app, so there is no listening history, no usage statistics and no device identifier for us to hold.

3. What is stored, and where

Everything RadioTree remembers is stored locally on your television, in the app's own private storage. That is:

• your favourite stations and any stations you added, edited or hid;
• your settings — language, theme, sort order, screensaver choice, sleep timer and similar;
• the station that was playing last, so the app can offer it again;
• recently viewed stations, kept only to populate the "recent" list.

None of this is transmitted anywhere. Uninstalling RadioTree deletes all of it from the device.

Automatic cloud backup is switched off

Android can normally copy an app's data to the user's Google Drive without being asked. RadioTree disables this (allowBackup="false"), so your lists and settings are never uploaded to any cloud service by the operating system.

Backups you make yourself

The app can export your stations and settings to a file. That file is written to your own device — normally the Download/RadioTree folder — and nowhere else. What you then do with it is entirely up to you.

4. What leaves your television

RadioTree is an internet radio player, so it has to talk to the internet. When it does, the other side necessarily sees the IP address your internet connection is using — exactly as it would if you opened a web page in a browser. We do not control those services and we receive nothing from them about you.

These are all of them, and the only ones:

No identifier of you or of your device is attached to any of these requests. They carry no account, no advertising ID and no cookie set by us.

RadioTree carries its own fonts and playback libraries inside the app, so it loads nothing from third-party content delivery networks — not at start-up, and not later.

5. Permissions the app requests

• Internet and network state — to play streams and to notice when the connection drops.
• Foreground service (media playback) — so that playback is not killed while the app is in the background.
• Notifications — for the standard playback notification Android requires for media apps.
• Wake lock — to keep audio running when the screen turns off.

RadioTree requests no other permission.

6. Payment

RadioTree is a paid app. The purchase is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see or receive your payment details. Google's handling of that transaction is governed by Google's privacy policy.

7. Children

RadioTree is not designed for or directed at children. It contains no advertising, no personalised content and no social features. It does, however, play live radio streams from third-party broadcasters, whose content we neither produce nor moderate.

8. Your rights under the GDPR

The GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete and export your personal data, and to object to its processing. In the case of RadioTree there is nothing to exercise those rights against: we hold no personal data about you, because none ever reaches us. The data the app keeps is on your own device, under your own control, and uninstalling the app erases it.

If you believe this is not the case, write to support@radiotree.app and we will answer. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority; in Croatia this is the Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP).

9. Changes to this policy

If a future version of RadioTree changes what it sends or stores, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change. We do not keep an archive of earlier versions; the page always describes the current release.
