Privacy Policy

In short: RadioTree does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. Everything you set up stays on your television.
Who we are
RadioTree is published by 3 POINT TREE d.o.o., a company registered in Croatia, European Union. For any question about this policy, write to support@radiotree.app.
Data we collect
None. RadioTree has no user accounts and no registration. We operate no servers that receive data from the app, we use no analytics or crash reporting services, and we display no advertising. We do not know who you are, what you listen to, or that you use the app at all.
Data stored on your device
Your favourites, your own added stations, renamed stations, hidden items, tab order, selected country, theme, language and other settings are stored locally on your television, in the app's own storage. They never leave the device unless you choose to export them yourself.
The backup feature writes a file to your device's storage when you ask it to. That file stays on your device. We never receive it.
If Android Backup is enabled on your television by your Google account settings, Android may include the app's local data in your device backup. That is a function of the Android operating system, governed by Google's privacy policy, and is not operated by us.
Connections the app makes
To work, RadioTree connects directly from your television to third parties. We are not involved in those connections and receive nothing from them.
- Radio station servers. When you play a station, your device connects to that station's stream server. As with any internet connection, that server can see your IP address. Each station is operated by its own broadcaster under its own privacy policy.
- Radio-Browser (radio-browser.info). A free community catalogue used to look up stations. Requests contain search terms only.
- Station logo hosts. Station artwork is loaded from addresses supplied by the catalogue, usually the broadcaster's own website.
Lyrics
RadioTree does not retrieve, store or display song lyrics. When you press the lyrics button, the app generates a QR code on your television that contains a web address. Nothing is sent anywhere at that moment. If you choose to scan the code, your phone opens that website, and from that point onward the privacy policy of that website applies, not ours.
Purchases
RadioTree is a one-time paid application. The purchase is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details, card numbers or address. Google provides us only with anonymous sales statistics. Google's handling of your purchase is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
Permissions
The app requests only the permissions needed to play audio: internet access, network state, foreground service and media playback, wake lock, task reordering and notifications. It does not request access to your location, contacts, microphone, camera, photos or files.
Children
RadioTree is a general-audience application and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose or erase. To remove everything the app has stored, uninstall it or clear its data in your television's settings.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
